History
The Mill
The Mill was built to serve the local monastery of Agios Georgios allowing the monks to be self sufficient in the production of bread, the exact date the mill was constructed has yet to be determined.
Monastery of Agois Georgios
Founded at the end of the 16th century the monastery has been a fixture of Marantochori ever since, the walls still have some of the original paintings along with some beautiful wood carvings.
